Patients Rights & responsibilities
As a patient you have certain rights (including, the right to receive treatment, the right to have treatment explained to you and the right to have a companion during consultation) and certain responsibilities (including being on time for appointments and the appropriate use of emergency services). Information for Clinical Audit
To maintain high-quality health care, the practice and other NHS parties will carry out clinical audits on the health information in your records. If you do not wish for your records to be used for anonymous external audits please let us know.
Access to the medical centre is by ramp from either the car park on Annandale Street Lane or the footpath on Huntingdon Place. A parking space for disabled patients is marked in the car park. All patient areas of the medical centre are at ground floor level and there are male and female disabled lavatories on this floor
The practice operates a zero tolerance policy. Incidents of violence, abusive or threatening behaviour may be reported to the police and/or result in the parties concerned being removed from the practice list.
